Xiaomi 14 Pro Plus smartphone code named Aurora, revealed tipster

Xiaomi is nowadays working on the Xiaomi 14 series of smartphones that can go official in November of this year in China. A tipster named Digital Chat Station recently revealed the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone codename in a Weibo post. Tipster revealed that the Xiaomi 14 series have smartphones with codenames “Houji” and “Shennong” that is likely to be the codename of Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro respectively.

Now the same tipster has revealed that the “big cup is code-named Aurora”. The big cup mentioned in the Weibo post is believed to be the Xiaomi 14 Pro Plus. The code name is based on Roman Mythology.

Xiaomi has earlier used code names from Greek mythology, Chinese mythology, and movie characters for Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 13 series smartphones. Some of the key specs have already been revealed by the tipster which says that Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset which has not been launched yet.

As far as the camera is concerned both of the phones are expected to come with a triple camera setup on the rear side. As of now a significant amount of information has come out about the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro but there is little to know about the Xiaomi 14 Pro Plus and the Ultra model of this series.

The Pro Plus model of this series along with Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro can come later this year while the Ultra model can arrive at the beginning of the next year. An earlier report revealed that the Xiaomi 14 has the model numbers 23127PN0CC and 23127PN0CG for China and the global market, respectively. On the other hand, the search Xiaomi Search 14 Pro has the model numbers 23116PN5BC and 23116PN5BG for China and the global market, respectively
