Xiaomi 13T Series First Teaser Released: Global Launch on 26th September 2023

Xiaomi’s latest 13T series smartphones are soon confirmed to have its launch in the global market, and the first teaser video for the series has been revealed.

Xiaomi 13T Series Global Launch Soon

The Chinese smartphone and consumer electronics manufacturer, Xiaomi, has now shared the first teaser video for its 13T series smartphones via its official Twitter handle. While the teaser video doesn’t reveal anything in particular about the upcoming smartphones, by asking the question regarding the typing sound and the “T” in the teaser video, it is obviously pointing to a smartphone having Leica cameras(suggested from the click sound) and also the “T”, confirming that it is the Xiaomi 13T series devices.

However, it should also be noted that Xiaomi’s 13T series will comprise two smartphones – the Xiaomi 13T and 13T Pro devices, and only the latter is going to feature the Leica branded cameras.

It has now been confirmed that the series will have its global debut in the European market on the 26th of September, this month, in Berlin, Germany, at 2 PM local time (GMT+2).

Xiaomi 13T Series - Launch Date

To date, a lot about the two upcoming smartphones of Xiaomi’s 13T series has been revealed, and we have come across the specs, renders, and their appearance on certification platforms many times.

Xiaomi 13T 

The Xiaomi 13T smartphone is expected to come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset and is to run on the Android 13 operating system with the MIUI 14 custom skin. It is also to have a 6.67″ 1.5K AMOLED display panel supporting a refresh rate of 144Hz.

The device will also be sporting a triple camera setup at its rear with a 50MP Sony IMX707 OIS main camera along with two additional cameras of 8MP and 2MP. A 20MP selfie camera will also be present. The smartphone is also going to be backed by a 5000 mAh battery with a 67W fast charge support.

Regarding its certifications, the smartphone has been certified by the IMDA, TKDN, FCC, NBTC, TDRA, and SIRIM certification authorities, and it has also made its appearance on the IMEI database as well. Last month, the first look of the smartphone was also shared, which revealed a lot more about the device.

Xiaomi 13T Pro

The Pro variant of the series is said to be the rebranded version of the Redmi K60 Ultra smartphone, and the specs that have been revealed further suggest it.

Xiaomi 13T Pro smartphone might come equipped with the Dimensity 9200+ chipset from MediaTek and is likely to be coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The device might also feature an OLED display with a 6.67″ screen size, 1.5K resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate.

At its rear, the smartphone might also feature a Leica branded triple camera unit with a 50MP main camera(Sony IMX707), 13MP ultra-wide camera(Omnivision OV138) and 50MP telephoto camera(Omnivision OV50D). It is also confirmed to be backed by a 5000 mAh battery supporting a 120W fast charge feature.

About its certification, Xiaomi’s 13T Pro smartphone has received the NCC, FCC, NBTC, IMDA, EEC, SIRIM, and TDRA certifications. The device was also spotted on the Geekbench database. To add more, the render images that were shared online also revealed its complete design specs.
