Vivo Y27’s launch date has been confirmed for India. The below-shown image, which was added as an Instagram story yesterday, confirmed that the Y27 will launch in two days. Hence, the smartphone is all set to go official on July 20 in India.
Reports have revealed that the Vivo Y27 exists in 4G and 5G versions. Recently, the Vivo Y27 5G was listed on Vivo’s global website. However, it is unclear whether India will receive the 4G or 5G version of the phone.
The below-shown teasers reveal that the Y27 heading to India will be available in Green and Burgundy shades. The images also reveal that the smartphone will be equipped with a dual-camera system. Here is a look at the specifications of the 5G version of the device.
Vivo Y27 5G specifications and features
The Vivo Y27 5G features a 6.64-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels. Under the hood, the Y27 5G is powered by a Dimensity 6020 processor. It offers two RAM options: 4 GB and 6 GB, along with 128 GB of storage capacity. The phone runs on FunTouch OS 13, based on Android 13. A 5,000mAh battery powers the Y27 5G, and it supports 15W charging.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Y27 5G sports an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, and an LED flash. Connectivity options include support for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, USB-C, GPS, and NFC (supported in certain regions, such as the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan). It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security. The device also offers a shared SIM card slot for dual nano SIMs or one nano SIM and a microSD card.
The Vivo Y27 5G will be available in two colour options: Mystic Black and Satin Purple. As of now, the price and availability details for the Vivo Y27 5G have not been disclosed.
