Vivo Y22T NBTC approved, launch imminent
Thailand’s NBTC certification site has approved a new Vivo phone with model number V2313. The listing confirms that the device will be called the Vivo Y22T when it arrives on the market.
The Y22T has been spotted for the first time. Unfortunately, the NBTC listing has no information about the specifications of the device. However, it does confirm that it is a 4G LTE device. It is advisable to wait for further reports to know more details about this phone.
The Vivo Y22T appears to be the successor to the Vivo Y21t, which was announced at the beginning of 2022. The Y21t has a 6.51-inch IPS LCD panel with a teardrop notch. The screen offers HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. The phone runs on Android 11 with a layer of FunTouch OS 12 on top and comes with a side-facing fingerprint sensor.
The Y21t is powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset and 4 GB / 6 GB of RAM. Both variants offer 128 GB of storage and a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.
For selfies, the Vivo Y22t has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The back panel of the device features a 50-megapixel primary camera and a pair of 2-megapixel cameras for depth and macro shots. The phone has a thickness of 8mm and weighs 182 grams.
In related news, a mysterious Vivo phone with a similar V2313A model number has been approved by China’s 3C authority. The listing reveals that it may support 44W fast charging. It is speculated that it could be a different Y-series phone from the company for the Chinese market.
