Vivo X Fold 3 Pro tipped to launch on March 27

Several reports have claimed that Vivo will unveil the Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro this month in China. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station released a Weibo post to state that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is tentatively scheduled to launch on March 27. While the leaker has not mentioned it, the brand is also expected to announce the Vivo X Fold 3, the Vivo Pad 3, and the Vivo Pad 3 Pro through the same event.

Apart from mentioning the tentative launch date, DCS also reiterated the leaked specifications of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. According to the leaker, it is equipped with a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50H primary camera with a larger aperture of f1/6.8.

A 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens with a 70mm focal length and 3x optical zoom will join the primary camera. It will also support telephoto macro photography. As per previous reports, the camera setup will also include a 50-megapixel camera for ultra-wide shots.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro’s camera system will be powered by the Vivo V3 ISP. The leaker further said that the foldable phone will come in black and white colour options. He prefers the latter, which has a fibreglass finish. Lastly, the tipster said that its topmost configuration will offer 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
