Vivo V2315 Smartphone Spotted on the BIS Certification Platform of India

An upcoming Vivo smartphone with the model number – V2315, has been spotted on the BIS Indian certification platform. The certification confirms the launch of the smartphone in the Indian market.

Vivo V2315 – BIS Certification

Vivo’s upcoming V2315 smartphone has received the BIS certification with the R-Number of R-85001031, and the IS Number of IS 13252(PART 1):2010/ IEC 60950-1: 2005& IS 16333(PART 3):2022. The device has been categorized as a mobile phone, but its moniker hasn’t been listed.

Very recently, two other Vivo smartphones with similar model numbers – V2318A & V2317A, had received China’s TENAA certification, and the images of the V2318A smartphone along with another smartphone(V2312BA) were revealed via the database, a month before. Just to add, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro smartphone, with the model number – V2337A, was also listed on the IMEI database, a week back.

We can expect more updates soon in the coming days with which, we’ll be able to know more about the Vivo smartphone that has now been certified by the BIS authority of India, and also about the other smartphones that have appeared on the TENAA database of China.

Other Updates

Vivo launched two more of its V29 series smartphones in India early this month, following the launch of the V29e smartphone in August 2023. The V29 Pro smartphone is currently available for purchase, and the vanilla V29 smartphone will be made available to customers starting tomorrow, on the 17th of October 2023.

The brand has also unveiled the FuntouchOS 14 custom skin based on the Android 14 operating system in India, on October 7th, this month, and the official roll-out plan was revealed. The X90 and X90 Pro smartphones were declared to receive the update first, after which, it will be rolled out to more smartphones.
