Vivo V2313A images appear MIIT certification, launch imminent

At the beginning of this month, a Vivo phone with model number V2313A was approved by the radio certification platform in China. The device later appeared on China’s 3C certification platform to give a hint at its fast charging capabilities. Now, the device has received MIIT certification, through which its design has been revealed.

As can be seen in the above image, the Vivo V2313A smartphone has a curved-edge display and a centrally positioned punch-hole. It appears that the device could be equipped with an OLED panel with an integrated fingerprint sensor.

The back panel of the phone also has curved edges. The squarish camera island available at the top-left corner of the rear panel has two cameras and an LED flash unit. The right side of the device features a volume rocker and a power key.

The 3C certification of the Vivo V2313A revealed that it may arrive with 44W fast charging. Vivo has recently started offering Y-series mid-range phones with curved-edge displays. Hence, it is likely that the V2313A could be a Y-series phone from the brand. It could be a successor to the Vivo Y78, which suggests that it may arrive with the Vivo Y79 marketing name.

There’s a chance that the Vivo Y79 could be a rebranded version of the Vivo V29e 5G, which is expected to release in India by the end of this month. It is recommended to wait for additional reports to confirm the actual name of the V2313A.
