Vivo T2 Pro 5G Indian Launch Date Confirmed: Launching in September

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Vivo, has now confirmed the launch date for its third and upcoming T2 series smartphone – the Vivo T2 Pro 5G. The smartphone will be debuting in the Indian market in September, this month itself.

Just two days back, Vivo India had teased the arrival of the T2 Pro 5G smartphone via its official Twitter/X handle by mentioning that the smartphone is coming soon. It is now official that the brand will be launching its next T2 series smartphone, the T2 Pro 5G, in India on the 22nd of September 2023, at 12 PM local time.

As previously revealed, the smartphone will be made available for purchase on the brand’s official Indian website, on the Flipkart shopping website and also in stores nearby.

The upcoming Vivo T2 Pro 5G smartphone may come equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200 chipset and should probably have the Android 13 operating system out of the box, likely with the Funtouch OS custom skin. It might also be coupled with an LPDDR4x RAM and a UFS 2.2 internal storage.

For its display, the device is expected to feature a curved AMOLED display, with a screen size of 6.78″, FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and a 1300 nits peak brightness.

Coming to the cameras, it will sport a dual camera setup, likely with a 64MP OIS main camera and a 2MP additional camera. A front facing camera of 16MP is also expected.

About its battery, the smartphone could be packing a 4600 mAh battery and may support a 66W wired fast charge feature.

Other expected features are, a glass back IP52 rated body, single speaker, in-display fingerprint sensor, 7.36mm thickness, 175gm weight, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3.

From what it seems, the Vivo T2 Pro 5G is going to be the rebranded version of the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G smartphone that was launched in India late last month.
