Upcoming Nubia Z60 Ultra Smartphone Launch Date Confirmed; Key Specifications Tipped

The Chinese smartphone maker, Nubia, had unveiled two of its latest Red Magic 9 series gaming smartphones last month and as expected, the updates regarding the upcoming Nubia Z60 Ultra smartphone have arrived. The Z60 Ultra smartphone will have its debut this month itself, and some of its key specifications have been tipped.

As revealed by the brand, Nubia will be introducing its Z60 Ultra smartphone in China on the 19th of December 2023, this month, at 2PM local time, and device will offer major upgrades in terms of its performance when compared to its predecessor – the Z50 Ultra.

Now, coming to the tipped specifications, the soon-to-be-launched Z60 Ultra smartphone is said to have an IP68-rated body and is probably going to feature the brand’s fifth generation under-display front-facing camera. Regarding the display, other reports suggest that it could be a 6.8″ flat screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The tipster also mentions that at the rear, it will support a 50MP(OIS main) + 50MP(ultrawide) + 64MP(OV64B periscope telephoto, 3x) triple camera unit with golden focal lengths. A 16MP selfie camera is also being expected on the device. To add, the camera samples of the smartphone have already been shared before.

Other tipped specs include the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and the 6000 mAh large battery backup. The device may also support an 80W fast charge feature, and might be coupled with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It is also likely to have the MyOS custom skin based on the Android 14 operating system out of the box.
