Here’s more about it.

The Lab for the Next Nord Device is Live

For those of you who didn’t know about “The Lab”, OnePlus first conducted this unique tradition within its community with the OnePlus 3 and 3T smartphones, and users who are selected to review the latest devices are free to give their honest reviews about the devices. To date, The Lab has been conducted regularly and the brand really appreciates its users’ valuable comments and remarks about its devices. Now the company has made The Lab live for the next OnePlus Nord device, presumably to be the upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone.

Anyone, who is or isn’t a OnePlus user and is or isn’t a member of the OnePlus community can apply. The Lab is however only open in Europe, India, and the countries of the APAC regions. 6 reviewers will be selected from the applicants with 50% seats, i.e. 3 seats reserved for the OnePlus Community users who have previously registered for The Lab.

The application began on the 18th of June and reviewers can apply till 11:59 pm on the 25th of June 2023. The user selection will take place between the 20th and the 26th of June and the announcement of the reviewers will be made in the OnePlus community on the 27th of June, 2023. On the next day, on the 28th of June, the latest device will be shipped to the selected reviewers and in the month of July, their reviews will be made live.

The Lab - Apply Now

Considering the timeline of The Lab, OnePlus is probably going to launch the OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone in the month of July 2023.

As of now, the OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone has appeared on multiple databases including the Geekbench platform. Regarding its certifications, the smartphone has received the IMDATDRA, NBTCSIRIMEECTKDN, CQC, BIS, and TUV Rheinland certifications. The device had also previously made its appearance on the brand’s official Indian website. Following the leak of its promotional image and the hands-on images, the press renders of the smartphone have also been revealed recently.

The upcoming OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone very much resembles the OnePlus Ace 2V launched in China and as far as its specifications are concerned, the device is confirmed to arrive equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset and will be operating on the Android 13-based Oxygen OS 13 custom user interface. Two storage variants (8GB/128GB & 16GB/256GB) of the device will be made available in Europe with expected price tags of €449 and €549, respectively.
