On Monday, 26th February 2024, the latest Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona, Spain. As you may recall, this smartphone has already received certifications in many countries, namely EEC, SIRIM, BIS, and TDRA. Therefore, it is expected that this smartphone will be launched in Malaysia, India, the UAE, and the Philippines. One important detail to note is that there is also a vanilla variant, the Tecno Pova 6, but Tecno hasn’t shared any details about it.
Let’s quickly walk through some of the salient features and specifications that Tecno has packed into the Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G.
The Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G features a 6.78-inch full HD+ AMOLED display. It will offer a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The screen includes a hole punch cutout, which houses the selfie shooter.
The phone processes on a 6 nm MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC processor.
The phone is equipped with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. You can expand the available memory to up to 24GB by using the additional unused storage.
In terms of the camera features, the phone is equipped with a triple camera setup. It consists of a 108 MP primary sensor. On the front, the phone consists of a 32 MP camera.
The Tecno Pova 6 Pro 5G is Tecno’s first smartphone which is supported by Dolby Atmos spatial sound.
Additionally, the phone includes dynamic MiniLED lights on the panel with 210 LEDs.
A 6,000 mAh battery powers the device, which supports 70W charging and 10W reverse charging.
Pricing and Availability
Tecno hasn’t shared any details regarding the price of this smartphone. However, it is expected that we may hear announcements from Tecno regarding the launch of this smartphone in the respective countries.
