Tecno has officially unveiled the Pova Neo 3, Pova 5, and Pova 5 Pro smartphones in Indonesia today. While the company previously introduced the Pova Neo 3 and Pova 5 to the global market a few weeks ago, it refrained from disclosing the prices of these devices. Now, the wait is over, and the prices are out. The Pova 5, featuring 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, is priced at IDR 2,199,000 (~$145). On the other hand, the Pova Neo 3, which comes with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, is available for IDR 1,899,000 (~$125). The Tecno Pova 5 Pro has a massive 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, it is powered by the advanced Dimensity 6080 processor, coupled with a whopping 8GB of RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. The Tecno Pova 5 Pro is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging. For photography, it has a 50-megapixel + AI lens dual-camera unit on the back. For security, it has a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
The Pova 5 Pro runs on Android 13 and HiOS 13. One of the major attractions of the device is its RGB lighting-enabled Arc Interface available on the back panel. It can glow in different colours while gaming, charging, and for notifications like incoming calls or messages.
Furthermore, the device comes with dual stereo speakers, delivering impressive sound quality, and the Z-axis linear motor ensures a tactile and responsive user experience while gaming. It also comes with other features, such as dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Tecno Pova 5 Pro price and availability
The Tecno Pova 5 Pro and Pova 5 are now up for pre-orders in Indonesia until Aug. 20. The device is priced at IDR 2,949,000 (~$195) and comes in two shades: Dark Illusion and Silver Fantasy.
