Sony Xperia phone spotted on EMVCO database; could be Xperia 1 VI

Sony unveiled Xperia 5 V smartphone last year in the month of September and since then the company has not introduced any new device in the industry. Though the company is rumored to launch new smartphones soon as previously an Xperia device with model number XQ-EC54 has been spotted on the device detection site “DeviceAtlas” and this new device was suspected to be an “Xperia 10 VI” smartphone.

Today our team at The Tech Outlook spotted a new Xperia phone on the EMVCO database with model number “XQ-ES54.”

The database reveals that the upcoming device will be running on the latest Android 14 OS. Other than this, not much has been revealed related to the smartphone; neither is the device is moniker yet known. However, it is suspected that the upcoming smartphone could be the Xperia 1 VI, though we need to wait for the official confirmation to know the moniker of the device.

“XQ-ES54” is said to be the second model of the 2024 version of Sony Xperia. In the coming days, we might come across some more details regarding the specifications and launch timeline of this smartphone.
