Industry reports have now confirmed that we can expect the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone around the month of August or September of 2023.

The FE smartphones in the Samsung Galaxy S series are low-end smartphones of the S series which took its first debut with the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE in the month of October 2020. The sales of the S20 FE had begun in the mid of October of the same year and by 2021, about 10 million units of the smartphone were sold.

Following the Galaxy S20 FE, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE came out in the month of January of 2021, but the sales of the smartphone were comparatively less when compared with the Samsung Galaxy S20 smartphone as it was launched in selected markets, which included the countries of the United States and Europe.

As a result of the shortage of semiconductors and due to the deteriorating smartphone market, Samsung had to drop the Samsung Galaxy S22 FE and many thought that the company has decided to end the production of FE smartphones in the Galaxy S series. However, with the recent update about the upcoming Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, it has been proven that Samsung hasn’t discontinued its FE smartphones of the Galaxy S series.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, as mentioned, is also going to come ahead of the usual schedule of Samsung’s FE smartphones and we will be able to see its launch by the month of August or September itself, as per what the recent report suggests.

The report has also mentioned that Samsung instead might be having plans to discontinue the A7 smartphones of the Galaxy A series due to the similar price range and specifications it has with other Galaxy smartphones. This also indicates that Samsung won’t be releasing the Samsung Galaxy A74 smartphone this year.
