Samsung Officially Launches its Latest Galaxy S24 Series Devices Globally: Pre-Reservation Live
The South Korean tech company, Samsung, had conducted its first Unpacked Event of 2024 globally at which, the brand officially unveiled the Galaxy S24 series flagships. Three new smartphones have been introduced with integrated AI functionalities. To add, the preservation is currently live in different global markets.

Samsung Galaxy S24
The vanilla Galaxy S24 comes in two processor variants – Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400, with the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 onboard. Adreno 750 or Xclipse 940 GPU will also be present depending on the processor used. The device has 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 8GB/512GB storage variants.
For the display, it features a Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display with a screen size of 6.2″, a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Coming to the cameras, there is a 50MP(main) + 10MP(telephoto) + 12MP(ultrawide) triple camera unit, and for selfies, a 12MP front-facing camera.
Regarding the battery, the device is backed by a 4000 mAh battery, supporting 25W wired, 15W wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging features.
Other specs include 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e with triple band support and Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, under-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, 7.6 mm thickness, and 167/168 gm weight.
Samsung Galaxy S24+
The Galaxy S24+ also have two different processors – Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400, and runs on the Android 14 operating system with the One UI 6.0 custom skin on top. Depending on the processor, the device will be integrated with Adreno 750 or Xclipse 940 GPU, and the smartphone will be offered in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB storage options.
It has a larger 6.7″ Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display screen with 1440 x 3088 pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support.
At the rear, the smartphone has a triple camera setup, housing a 50MP main camera, 10MP telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. There is also a 12MP selfie camera on the device.
For a little more longer battery life, a 4900 mAh battery is packed within the device, and for faster charging, 25W wired and 15W wireless charging features are supported on the device. It also has the 4.5W reverse wireless charging feature as well.
Speaking of some of the other specs, it has 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e with triple band support and Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, under-display fingerprint sensor, thickness of 7.7 mm, and a weight of 196/197 gm.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
The top-end model of the series, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, arrives only with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and has the Android 14 based One UI 6.0 out of the box. It has the Adreno 750 GPU, along with storage configurations such as 12GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, and 12GB/1TB.
A Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X display with the largest screen size of 6.8″ is offered, which supports a resolution of 1440 x 3088 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.
A much better quad camera unit is also present, featuring a 200MP primary shooter and 50MP periscope telephoto, 10MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide additional lenses. The same 12MP front camera is also given on the device.
The largest battery amongst the three is also on the device with a capacity of 5000 mAh. Charging specs include a faster 45W wired, 15W wireless, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging features.
Other notable specs are the 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6e/7 with triple band support and Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, under-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader, 8.6mm thickness, and 232/233 gm weight.
Price and Availability
About the price, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones have been introduced with starting prices of $799, $999, and $1,299. The pre-orders are live and the devices will be put up for sale on the 31st of January 2024. Customers will also be able to get the device in multiple color choices as well.
