Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Realme GT Neo 5 SE 5G to make their debut this month in China , confirmed to feature the new Snapdragon 7+Gen 2 chipset

Just yesterday only, Qualcomm launched it’s new chipset Snapdragon 7+Gen 2 which came with improved performance and efficiency than its predecessor. We also informed you that Redmi and Realme might soon introduce smartphones that would be featuring this new chipset. Well, today both smartphone brands have officially confirmed this speculation.

Realme and Redmi both have confirmed that their upcoming smartphones Realme GT Neo 5 SE 5G and Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be the first to feature Snapdragon 7+Gen 2 chipset. Both these smartphones will be launching Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Realme GT Neo 5 SE 5G this month in China. This newly launched chip enables fast gaming, dynamic low–light photography, 4k HDR videography, AI-enhanced experiences, and many more features.

Let’s take a look at the other specifications of these upcoming smartphones.

Realme GT Neo 5 SE 5G: Specifications ( Expected)

It is already confirmed that this smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 7+Gen 2 SoC. Apart from this, the phone is expected to sport a 6.74-inch flat OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It could feature a triple rear camera setup including 64MP OmniVision primary lens, 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra-wide lens, and 2 MP lens along with a 16 MP front camera. It is expected to pack a massive 5500mAh battery that supports 100W fast charging.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo: Specifications (expected)

This upcoming device will also be powered by Snapdragon 7+Gen 2 processor. It might feature a 6.67-inch FHD+AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is supposed to come with a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 50MP main camera, 8MP secondary camera, and 2 MP lens. It could pack a massive 5500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. Also, it is expected to boot Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.

Though the official date of the launch of these smartphones in China is still not announced but might be in the coming days we get to hear about the launch date announcement. Also, Redmi Note 12 Turbo is rumored to launch later in India and globally as POCO F5 5G.
