Keeping its promise Xiaomi introduced the Redmi Note 12 4G and Redmi 12C in India. The smartphones were launched at the Xiaomi Fan Festival event along with this the smartphone brand priced these devices at quite an affordable range which has always been its plus point in attracting customers. Not only is the price range affordable but the newly launched devices as claimed by the brand are big on speed and big on style. Well, apart from this the big surprise that Xiaomi was talking about before the launch event was the introduction of the Redmi Note 12 5G which was done by the end of the event.

Pricing & Availability: Redmi Note 12 & Redmi 12C

Redmi Note 12 4G will be made available in two storage options: 6GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB. The base model is priced at Rs.14,999 but the brand is offering a bank offer of Rs.1000 on the purchase of this device which reduced its price to Rs.13,999. If you are a Xiaomi user and you want to exchange your old device to get the new one, you can get Redmi Note 12 6GB+64GB for Rs. 13,499.

For the Redmi Note 12 4G 6GB+128GB variant the price is Rs.16,999 but after availing of the bank offer you can purchase it for Rs. 15,999. And if you are a Xiaomi user you can get this variant for Rs. 15,499 in exchange for your old device.

If we talk about Redmi 12C, the 4GB+64GB variant is priced at Rs.8,999 where as the 6GB+128GB variant is priced at Rs. 10,999. If you avail of the bank offer of Rs.500 you can get the device for Rs. 8,499 (4GB+64GB) and Rs.10,499 (6GB+128GB). Xiaomi users get an additional Rs.500 off if they exchange their old device.

Last but not the least, the surprise element of the event, the Redmi Note 12 5G 8GB+256GB is priced at Rs. 21,999 but you can get it for Rs.20,999 after availing of the Rs.1000 bank offer. On this smartphone also Xiaomi users get an additional Rs.500 off if they exchange their old device. There is already a 4GB and 6GB RAM variant of the 5G variant in the market.

The sale of these smartphones will start from April 6th, 12 noon onwards. They will be made available via Flipkart, Amazon, Mi website, Mi Home stores, and retail outlets.

Redmi 12C : Specifications

The smartphone features a 6.71-inch HD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate and 20:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor which is paired with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128 GB storage. Along with this, the device is equipped with extended RAM technology with up to 5GB extendable RAM. The device runs MIUI 13 based on Android 12.

It houses a 5000mAh battery and packs up a dual rear camera setup that includes 50MP primary camera, 2MP secondary lens with a 5MP selfie camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro USB port.

The smartphone sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 240 Hz touch sampling rate . It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and runs MIUI 14 based on Android 13. The device houses a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging support and packs up a triple rear camera set up that includes 50MP primary camera, 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, and 2MP macro camera along with 13MP front camera.

It features IR Blaster, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side fingerprint sensor, and dual sim+ microSD.
