Redmi K80 Smartphone May Soon be Unveiled; K80e Device Likely Not to be Launched
A Chinese tipster on the Weibo platform has revealed that the next Redmi K80 smartphone is in works and is fast progressing. Along with this, it has also been pointed out that the Redmi K80e device won’t be released in the Redmi K80 series this time.

Redmi K80 Nearing Launch – Redmi K80e May Not Debut
Xiaomi’s Redmi K70 series was officially launched late last year in the month of November 2023 and it comprised of three smartphone models – K70, K70 Pro, and K70e. What can be considered as the very first update regarding the K80 series has arrived and it is from the tipster – Smart Pikachu.
As per what has been shared, the tipster notes in the Weibo post that the Redmi K80 smartphone’s work is progressing and that only the flagship’s core model will be made. This means that the K80e model will probably be dropped and will likely not be launched in this year’s K80 series. [Smart Pikachu didn’t talk anything about the Redmi K80 Pro model.]
Moreover, the tipster has further added that the respective configuration segment will possibly be transferred to the Note series, indicating that the next Redmi Note 14 series may have an “e” variant configuration.
