Redmi is reportedly working on the Redmi K60 Ultra flagship phone. It will be a new addition to the Redmi K60 family, which already includes three variants, such as the Redmi K60, the Redmi K60 Pro, and the Redmi K60e. The K60 Ultra is expected to launch in August in China. A new leak that has surfaced today has revealed the configurations and colour variants of the smartphone.
The Redmi K60 Pro debuted with a price tag of RMB 3,299 (~$455) in China in December 2022. Since the 618 shopping festival, the handset has been available at a discounted price of RMB 2,599 (~$360). According to a Chinese tipster, the Redmi K60 Pro will be a good option for customers who are looking for a flagship with better performance, and those who want a flagship with appealing texture and overall appearance can choose the K60 Ultra.
The tipster said that the K60 Ultra’s display will have a centred punch-hole and narrow bezels. The back panel of the device has a glass back. It will come in two options, such as 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage and 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage. It will be available in colour options like Black and Cyan.
Reports have revealed that the K60 Ultra will have a 6.7-inch OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It will be equipped with the Dimensity 9200+ chip, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,000mAh or 5,500mAh battery with 120W charging. The company is expected to announce it alongside other products, such as the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, Xiaomi Pad 6 Max, and Redmi Pad 2.
