Realme Teases a New Smartphone for the Global Market: Likely to Feature a Periscope Telephoto Camera

The Chinese smartphone maker, Realme, has now teased a new smartphone device that is to be launched in the global market. From what it seems, the upcoming device will have a periscope telephoto camera lens.

Here’s more about it.

Realme’s Upcoming Smartphone Device

This update comes officially via the global Twitter handle of Realme. The brand has shared an image that features the camera module of the upcoming smartphone, and the tagline “Not only max can zoom” has been used.

The camera module is circular in shape and its design looks very similar to what we have seen on the newly launched Realme 11 5G, Realme 11 4G, and Realme Narzo 60x devices that were unveiled in India and some global markets recently.

Speaking more about the camera module of the upcoming smartphone, there are two circular cutouts and a rectangular cutout on it. The tagline used might be pointing out that this smartphone would feature a telephoto camera at its rear, and from the rectangular shape, there is a chance that this is a periscope telephoto camera.

Realme has also mentioned on its Twitter post that “This light will shine on realme. Just wait…”, and this is what makes things really confusing. We have seen the brand’s recent GT devices coming with a rectangular lighting system at its rear, and the camera module of the upcoming smartphone showcases something similar, if you may have noticed.

We’ll just have to wait until more about this upcoming smartphone is revealed, in order to get a better idea of what has been meant by the brand.

Just to add, the Realme 11 5G series is said to have a new smartphone that can be a rival device for the POCO M6 Pro 5G. Do check it out.
