Realme 12+ along with Realme 12 Pro+ confirmed to launch in Malaysia on 29th Feb

Realme has had a great start to the year with the overwhelming response that it received from Realme 12 Pro series users. Recently it announced that they have sold 150k units during the first sale that began on 6th Feb, 2024.

Now the company has announced the launch of Realme 12 Pro+ 5G and 12+ 5G in Malaysia. The smartphones will be launched on 29th February 2024 and it’s pre-orders will begin on 16th Feb 2024. It will be available for pre-order from RM 12(~Rs 200). You can also get the chance to win a special gift worth RM 799.

The pricing is still under wraps, but we may hear something in the form of a leak sooner or later.

Expected specs of Realme 12+ 5G

The Pro+ version has already been launched in other markets while 12+ 5G is a new addition in the series. As per the announcement, the Realme 12+ 5G smartphone will come with a 120 Hz smooth AMOLED display and will be powered by Dimensity 7050 5G chipset.

In the camera department, the smartphone sports a LYT-600 OIS portrait camera. And it can be complemented by the 8MP ultrawide sensor and 2MP macro sensor. The front side of the smartphone can come with a 16MP selfie camera. It can run Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0. It can be powered by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 67W SUPERVOOC charging. It can come in Pioneer Green and Navigator Beige colour options.

Realme 12 Pro+ 5G specifications

The Realme 12 Pro+ 5G smartphone features a 6.7-inch wide OLED display that offers FHD+ resolution with up to 120 Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.

In the camera section, the smartphone comes with a 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS, 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with OIS, 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera sensor.

The front side of the smartphone comes with a 32 MP selfie camera. It is backed by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC charging
