Oppo Reno 12, Reno 12 Pro official images appear, design revealed
On May 23, the Oppo Reno 12 series of smartphones will make its debut in China. The lineup will comprise two devices, such as the Reno 12 and 12 Pro. Ahead of the launch, popular leaker Evan Blass shared the press renders of both smartphones.
As can be seen, the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro have an identical design. While the standard model will be available in gold, silver, and black options, the Pro variant will come in choices such as peach, purple, and black.
The Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro have a flat display on the front, with a micro-curved glass on top. The Reno 6 lineup’s camera module, which made its debut in 2021, appears to have inspired the rear camera setup of the Reno 12 series. Here is a look at the leaked specifications of both phones.

The Reno 12 and 12 Pro are expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate. While the standard model is said to support an FHD+ resolution, the Pro variant will produce a 1.5K resolution. The Dimensity 8250 and Dimensity 9200+ Star Speed Edition chipsets, respectively, power the Reno 12 and 12 Pro. Both phones are expected to come in the same variants, such as 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage.
The Reno 12 duo is likely to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 80W charging support. Both phones will feature a 50-megapixel front camera, with the Pro variant’s selfie camera reportedly supporting autofocus. Both phones’ rear camera modules reportedly feature a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom support.
