OPPO Reno 11 5G receives NBTC certification, hints early 2024 launch

Usually, devices that appear in Thailand’s NBTC certification take around a month or two to become official. Recently, the OPPO Reno 11 Pro 5G, which bears the CPH2607 model number, was approved by the NBTC authority. Now, the Reno 11 5G has emerged in the database of NBTC, hinting that it will not take too long for the Reno 11 series to go official in the global market.

In the screenshot above, the OPPO Reno 11 5G, identified with model number CPH2599, has been certified by the NBTC certification platform. As a reminder, the Reno 11 5G and Reno 11 Pro 5G were unveiled in November in China.

However, it remains unclear whether the global versions of the Reno 11 and 11 Pro will mirror their Chinese counterparts. This uncertainty stems from the fact that while the Reno 10 Pro’s global and Chinese variants are identical devices, the Reno 10’s global and Chinese variants have distinct specifications.

OPPO Reno 11 5G specifications

The Reno 11 5G has a 6.7-inch curved-edge OLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 950 nits of brightness. Under the hood, the device has the Dimensity 8200 chipset, up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Reno 11 5G is backed by a 4,800mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. It runs on the ColorOS 14-based Android 14. On the front, it has a 32-megapixel selfie camera, and its back panel has an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

In all likelihood, the Reno 11 series may go official in the first quarter of 2024.
