OPPO Find X7 Pro display specifications, model numbers revealed

OPPO is reportedly developing the Find X7 series for the Chinese market. Reports have suggested that the Find X7 and X7 Pro could be unveiled as early as January in the domestic market. Yesterday, a reliable leaker, Digital Chat Station, shared a schematic to showcase the design of the Find X7 Pro. Today, they shared new details about the device’s display.

According to the leaker, the Find X7 Pro will be equipped with an OLED LTPO panel with a screen size of 6.82 inches, which is the same size as the OnePlus 12. The screen will support a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. However, it is uncertain whether it will feature the same BOE-supplied X1 OLED screen that is available on the OnePlus 12.

Regarding the display design of the Find X7 Pro, it will have a slight curvature on all four sides, mirroring the design of the Find X6 Pro, which was introduced earlier this year. The X7 Pro’s display will be integrated with an ultra-thin in-screen fingerprint sensor. The device will also come equipped with an alert slider.

The leaker mentioned the model numbers PHZ110 and PHY110 in their Weibo post, suggesting that both model numbers could be associated with the Find X7 Pro. For reference, the PHZ110 was recently spotted in the database of the Geekbench benchmarking platform with the Dimensity 9300. At that time, it was believed that it could be the standard Find X7.

However, it now appears that the Find X7 Pro may be released in Dimensity 9300 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 variants. Recall that the Find X6 Pro featured the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the Find X5 Pro from last year was offered in Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Dimensity 9000 chipset options. Coming back to the latest leak, the tipster claims that the Find X7 Pro (or the series) will launch very soon in China, which again hints at a January 2024 launch. For those who don’t know, the X7 Pro is tipped to be the world’s first dual periscope telephoto camera smartphone.
