Motorola has launched the Moto G Power 5G 2023 in USA, But May Not have its Launch in India

Moto G Power 5G 2023 Launched in USA
Motorola has just launched the Moto G Power 5G 2023 in the USA and is the successor to the previously launched Moto G Power 2022. Compared to its predecessor, the newly launched smartphone offers a better battery life, a larger storage option, a faster refresh rate, and a better front-facing camera. The smartphone now also comes with 5G network connectivity support.
Regarding its specifications, the Moto G Power 5G 2023 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 930 chipset and is going to run on the Android 13-based MyUX custom user interface. It will only be available in one storage option with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
For its display, the smartphone features an IPS LCD display which will have a screen size of 6.5 inches. It will also have a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels along with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
On its rear, the smartphone will also offer its users a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP main camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. For selfies, the smartphone is also offering a front-facing camera of 16MP as well.
Now coming to the battery backup of the device, Motorola’s G Power series is designed to offer its users better battery life and if we look at the previous Motorola G Power 2022, the smartphone is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and offered a total battery life of upto 13 hours. The newly launched Motorola G Power 5G 2023 also has the same battery backup of 5000 mAh but has promised a battery life of upto 38 hours to its users.
The smartphone is priced at $299 and compared to its predecessor, there has been a price hike of $100. But what should be noted here is that the device has brought some significant upgrades to its specifications along with 5G network connectivity support and a larger storage of 6GB/256GB, which makes its price justifiable.
The smartphone will be made available for purchase starting from the 13th of April 2023 and will be available via Best Buy, Amazon, and also on Motorola’s official website.
It is to be noted that the smartphone will not be launched in the Indian market. In fact, none of the Motorola G Power series smartphones are available in India and the main reason for it is due to the competition of other Chinese brands including Realme and Xiaomi.
