OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of its new flagship, the OnePlus 12, on Dec. 4 in China. Despite the company teasing the upcoming device, the design has not been officially revealed. However, CAD renders of the OnePlus 12 have been circulating for weeks. In a new leak, a retail box image of the device has emerged online. Surprisingly, it looks identical to the box of the OnePlus 11.

The red-coloured OnePlus 12 box features branding from OnePlus and Hasselblad at the bottom, with Chinese OnePlus 12 branding on the right side. This similarity may surprise OnePlus fans who might have expected a distinct retail box for the OnePlus 12, especially considering it marks the company’s 10th anniversary.

It is worth noting that the authenticity of the leaked image cannot be confirmed at this time, so it is advisable to approach the information with caution. While OnePlus hasn’t started teasing the OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone in China, it is speculated that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered device may break cover along with the OP12 on Dec. 4.

The company recently confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will arrive in three shades, such as black, white, and green. The smartphone is also expected in a wood-textured colour as per a leak by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station. In the global market, the OP12 may only arrive in black and green shades.

Speaking of the global market, the Ace 3 is also expected to debut along with the OnePlus 12 in January 2024. Since OnePlus is not releasing Ace-branded phones outside of China, the Ace 3 is likely to be rebadged as the OnePlus 12R globally.
