iQOO Z9 Turbo full specifications leaked, April launch expected

iQOO is expected to announce the iQOO Z9 series of smartphones this month (April) in China. Reports have revealed that apart from the Z9 and Z9x, the lineup will also include the Z9 Turbo, which will feature the recently announced Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station took to Weibo to leak the entire specifications of the Turbo model.

According to the leaker, the iQOO Z9 Turbo will have a 6.78-inch flat OLED panel that produces a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and supports 2160Hz PWM dimming.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered device will have 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. As per previous leaks, the device will feature LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

The Z9 Turbo is said to pack a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. On the front, it will have a 16-megapixel selfie camera, and its back panel may feature a 50-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. Other reports have claimed that the Turbo model will have a plastic frame, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and run on OriginOS 4-based Android 14.
