[Update] Honor’s X50 Pro Smartphone Released in China for the Offline Market: Priced CNY 2,599

Honor, the Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics manufacturer has launched the X50 Pro smartphone for the offline market in the brand’s home country. The smartphone could be rebranded as another device for the online market as well.

Honor X50 Pro Released in China

The latest and newly unveiled Honor X50 Pro smartphone is powered by the under-clocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and comes with the Android 14 based MagicOS 7.2 out of the box. It has a storage option with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

For its display, the smartphone features a curved-edge OLED display panel. The display is 6.78″ large, has a 1.5K screen resolution, and supports a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Regarding the cameras, the device offers an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies. At the rear, it sports a dual camera unit with a 108MP main camera and a 2MP additional camera.

About the battery backup, it packs a 5800 mAh larger battery for better battery life. The device also supports a wired fast charging feature of up to 35W.

Some of the other notable features of the X50 Pro device are the in-display fingerprint reader, NFC connectivity, 5G network connectivity, dimension of 163.6mm(length) x 75.5mm(width) x 8mm(thickness), and weight of 192 grams.

As mentioned, Honor’s X50 Pro smartphone has been introduced for the offline market in China and has a price tag of CNY 2,599. Two color choices are also available for the device. Users can pick from Black and Green colors.

From what it seems, Honor might also be launching the X50 Pro smartphone rebranded as the X50 GT device in the online market of China.

However, a recent update has revealed the online listing of the X50 Pro smartphone on Honor’s website, but with a higher pricing of CNY 2,799 for a 12GB/256GB storage model. Based on this, the device may arrive in the online market too, with the same moniker.
