China-based smartphone maker Honor is all set to make its comeback in India with the launch of the Honor 90 5G smartphone on 14th September at 12:30 noon. The company recently confirmed the launch date on its X account. This handset was announced globally in May 2023 and now will soon be available for Indian users by HTech which has the rights to sell the HONOR handsets in India.

In its recent X post, HTech announced that the Honor 90 5G smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and will come with Quad Curved AMOLED display. Honor has already dropped complete specs on its Amazon sales page.

Specs

For a few days, Honor has been teasing the key specs of the Honor 90 5G smartphone on its official X account to impress buyers. The company claims that this smartphone will “change the way you see the screen” because it comes with five-fold eye protection. It includes Risk-Free dimming, dynamic dimming, circadian night display, low blue light, and dimming adjustment in low light. It has a 6.7-inch wide Quad Curved Floating Display with a 1.5K resolution, 1600 nits of peak brightness, and 3840Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming technology for safe usage.

On the camera front, it has got a triple camera setup on the rear side featuring a 200 MP main camera, a 2 MP depth camera, and a 12 MP ultra-wide and macro camera. The front side of the smartphone comes with a 50 MP selfie camera for vlogs and selfies. According to its landing page on Amazon, it will be backed by a 5,000 mAh battery. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and will also be equipped with the GPU Turbo X and NFC.

The Honor 90 5G smartphone will run MagicOS 7.1 based on Android 13 out of the box. It will be launched in India in three colour variants Midnight Black, Emerald Green, and Diamond Silver.

Almost everything about this smartphone has been revealed so far leaving one thing still on our speculations and that is price. We recently saw a tipster named Mukul Sharma revealing the price of the 12GB/512 GB variant and he mentioned in his X post “The MOP of this variant will be ₹40,000. So, the lower memory variants will obviously be priced lesser”. So sticking to it until the price is revealed we can say it to fall in between Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000.
