Renders of the Google Pixel 7a Revealed

Google is soon to have the launch of its much-awaited mid-range smartphone, the Google Pixel 7a at the I/O developer conference scheduled on the 10th of May, 2023 and the smartphone is expected to arrive in the market for sales by the second week of June, 2023.

Now ahead of its launch, we have the renders of the upcoming smartphone thanks to famous tipster OnLeaks and MySmartPrice, which have revealed its design along with the three different colour variants the smartphone will be arriving in.

From its renders, it is clear that the smartphone looks very similar to the previous Google Pixel 6a, and just like the Pixel 6a, the Google Pixel 7a also has a dual camera setup placed inside a long frame that touches its left and right side panels. But unlike the Pixel 6a smartphone which has a black frame, the Google Pixel 7a has its colour matched with that of its body colour. There is also an LED flash that is placed towards the right of the frame. In a centrally aligned manner, we can also find Google’s branding below the frame.

Now coming to its display, which is again similar to that of the Google Pixel 6a, the upcoming smartphone has a centrally aligned punch-hole selfie camera with a few thick bezels on all four of its sides. From what it seems from the renders, the smartphone will have quite a large display.

The renders also reveal its right side profile where the power button and volume rocker are placed. If the device follows the design of the Pixel 6a for its side profiles, we can expect the USB type-C port along with the speaker grille and the microphone on the bottom side panel and the sim card tray will be on the left side panel. We’ll also be able to find an additional microphone on the top of the device as well.

The Google Pixel 7a will be available in three colour variants from what is revealed from the renders. The exact marketing names of the colours haven’t been revealed but from what is understood, the smartphone will be available in grey, white and light blue colour choices. The light blue colour matches the leaked colour variant of the Google Pixel Buds A earbuds that we had featured before.

Here are the expected specifications of the Google Pixel 7a smartphone

The upcoming Google Pixel 7a smartphone is expected to be powered by Google’s latest Tensor G2 chipset and will have the Android 13-based operating system out of the box. The device is also expected to have a RAM 0f 8GB and will offer internal storage of upto 256GB.

Speaking of its display, the smartphone is tipped to feature an OLED display panel with a screen size of 6.1 inches and will have a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Again, the smartphone is also tipped to have a dual camera setup with a 64MP Sony IMX787 main camera and a 12MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, the smartphone might also offer a 10.8MP front-facing camera.

The device is also expected to come equipped with a 4500 mAh battery which is to support a fast charge feature of 15W and is tipped to have a wireless fast charge feature of 5W.
