Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy A14 4G, Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy A34 5G, and Galaxy A54 5G in different markets. It appears that the Galaxy A24 4G will be the next A-series phone from the brand. The handset was recently spotted at certification platforms like the FCC and Malaysia’s SIRIM. The support page for the phone also went live on the Samsung India website, which hints that it will debut soon in India. Ahead of the expected launch, we at The Tech Outlook have teamed up with tipster Paras Guglani to leak the detailed specifications of the Galaxy A24. In addition, we have shared two new renders of the device along with its expected price and launch timeframe.
Samsung Galaxy A24 specifications
The Galaxy A24 will arrive with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen panel with a teardrop notch. It will support a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. It will arrive with a 13-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main) + 5-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit on the back. The smartphone will be able to capture 1080p videos at 30 fps through the front and rear cameras.
The Helio G99, along with 4 GB of RAM, will power the Galaxy A24 The device will arrive with 128 GB of internal storage. It will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W charging. It will run on Android 13 OS layered with One UI 5 on top. The device will also be equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm audio jack.
The Galaxy A24 will measure 162.1 x 77.6 x 8.3mm and weigh 195 grams. As far as the build of the device is concerned, its middle frame and back panel will be made out of plastic.
Samsung Galaxy A24 price, launch timeframe
The Galaxy A24 will debut by late April in the global market, where it will be priced at around $190 (~Rs 16,000). It is also expected to arrive on the Indian market around the same time. Shown above are the leaked renders of the Galaxy A24’s black and green color variants. As per a previous leak, the A24 is also expected to arrive in silver and burgundy shades.
