Asus has finally officially confirmed the launch date of its much-awaited gaming phone Asus ROG 8 series. As per the recent post by Asus India, the ROG 8 will be launched in India on January 9th, 2024. Indian users might miss the Pro version or may have to wait a while for its launch in the Indian market. But since it’s the first teaser it would be wise to wait for more information to come forward.

Last month Asus confirmed on its official Weibo page that the ROG 8 gaming phone series will be launched in China on January 16.
The official launch date for the global and Indian markets has come after numerous listings on certification websites like NBTC, and Geekbench. As per the close-up renders shared by the company ROG 8 series will come with a new back design with a pentagon-shaped camera cutout.
With the recent announcement of the launch date, the company has also dropped a teaser that shows that it will come with a punch-hole cutout display. It will also bring slimmer bezels than previous ASUS phones. The Asus ROG Phone 8 is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with up to 24GB RAM and Android 14 out of the box.
