2024 versions of the Nokia 6310, Nokia 5310 and Nokia 230 launched, check latest features and specifications here

In the latest developments, HMD announced that they are launching three new handsets while sticking to Nokia names for its feature phones. These handsets are the Nokia 6310 (2024), 5310 (2024), and 230 (2024). This move comes in as the brand’s effort to embrace a new multi-brand approach for its smartphones.

However, there hasn’t been any mention of the prices at which these handsets will be available for purchase.

Now, let’s look at each of the three phones, and have a walkthrough of how they are different from the older versions of the handsets.

Nokia 6310 (2024): HMD is adding new features to this phone for the 2024 version. The phone bears a resemblance to the 2021 version of the Nokia 6310. The 2024 version has been incorporated with a bigger 1,450 mAh battery. Additionally, it now features a USB-C port.

The other features and specifications of the phone however remain the same. This includes a VGA camera with a flash, a 2.8-inch LCD display, a dual-slim slot with stand-by capabilities for both cards, and a microSD card slot.

Nokia 5310 (2024): HMD has kept the overall design exactly like the 2010 version of the 2020 Nokia 5310. However, the size of the handset has been increased. It is taller and wider, which gives it space to be equipped with a bigger 1,450 mAh battery. The phone now processes on a Unisoc 6531F instead of MediaTek chipsets. Even the phone’s display has been increased to a 2.8-inch LCD.

The Nokia 5310 is renowned for its music-playing features. The 2024 version includes the play buttons on the handset’s right side. On the other hand, the volume keys are located on the left. A USB-C port is another additional feature. The phone includes a microSD card slot (8/16) MB, dual speakers, and FM radio.

Nokia 230 (2024): Like the above-mentioned models, the Nokia 230 has also been retained with the older design, while being incorporated with a new battery. The footprint of the phone is an exact copy of the 2015 released version. Even the display of the phone remains the same, a 2.8-inch TFT display with 65K colours. It has a 2 MP camera with LED flash on the front and back panels.

However, it now has a 1,450 mAh battery and a USB-C port.

The phone processes on Unisoc 6531F chipset and is Bluetooth 5.0 enabled. It includes a 3.5 mm audio jack and an 8/16 MB microSD card slot.
