Hyundai Verna Wagon spied in Russia looks like SUV

A Hyundai Verna wagon test mule has been spotted in Russia that gives full chance to customers to draw its similarities with Hyundai Verna Sedan. The Hyundai Verna Sedan is planned to arrive in India on March 21 and it has got a lot to do with the Verna Wagon because of its similar face and LED lights. The place where you will start finding it different is from its C pillar. The roofline of the wagon variant is extended and its rugged snow tires with higher ground clearance give it an SUV-like stance.

The image did not reveal any trace of the Advanced Driver Assistance System which can be a cost-effective measure from Hyundai. Other than this we expect the powertrains capacity to be similar to India spec Verna. So we can expect it to come with a 1.5L MPi NA petrol engine making 113 bhp and 144 Nm along with a 1.5 L turbo petrol option with 158 bhp and 260 Nm.

I think Wagon from Hyundai can be seen in the global market in parallel to the Hyundai Sedan that will be launched in India on 21 March. If we talk about the sale of wagon cars in India it is not popular in India which is the biggest reason for their low price. The Indian market has got a fair share of wagon cars in face of HM Ambassador, Premier Padmini Safari, Tata Estate, and Opel Corsa Swing but is hardly seen on the road which supports the idea of not introducing another Wagon car in the Indian market.
