Hyundai Motor India Limited launched the new generation Tucson back in August 2022 with a price tag of Rs 28.63 lakh for the base variant and Rs 35.46 lakh for the top-spec trim. Buyers love it for its premium design, awesome interior, and impressive powertrain.

Design

If we were to start describing it from the front, you will see a dark chrome parametric front grill with hidden DRLs and LED headlamps. The side profile of the car reveals classy cuts and edges giving it a futuristic look. The rear side is equipped with a connected tail lamp designed in such a way that it stands out among others.

Interior and features

The Interior of this car has got a premium black and light grey dual tone. You get to see the best features that make all journeys the most comfortable. Its Multi Air Mode which the company claims to have been inspired by aircraft activates gentle airflow from multiple vents. Its Dual Zone FATC (Fully Automated Temperature Control) with Auto Defogger sets the dual temperature inside the cabin. It has got a 10-way power-adjustable ventilated and heated driver seat with a memory function.

Its digital cockpit features a 10.25-inch floating type digital infotainment system with adjustable seats, ventilated heated function, Alexa and Google voice assistant connectivity, 60+ BlueLink features, and many more. For safe driving, it is also equipped with Level 2 ADAS enabling Hyundai’s SmartSense technology array of features such as blind spot monitoring, driver attention warning, forward collision avoidance, lane keep assist, safe exit warning adaptive cruise control with stop and go, and rear cross-traffic avoidance assist.

Powertrain

The new Hyundai Tucson is powered by the Nu 2.0 Petrol Engine with 6-speed automatic transmission and a new R 2.0 Diesel engine with 8-speed automatic transmission. Its petrol engine can generate 156 PS at 6,200 rpm and 192 Nm at 4,500 rpm whereas diesel engine generates 186 PS at 4,000 rpm and 416 Nm of peak torque between 2,000 and 2,750 rpm.
