Delhi Government has implemented night curfew from today, changes has been made to the implementations

With the constant rise of Covid cases in the country, Delhi government has imposed a night curfew between 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. from today. There has been a yellow alert issued under Graded Action Response Plan (GRAP) in response to rising COVID-19 cases.
In contrast to DDMA’s order imposing night curfew in April, this one does away with the need for e-passes for exempt persons. Aside from government officials and healthcare professionals, everyone else in the exempt category had to apply online for an e-pass in April. This time, those exempt from the night curfew can present any valid identification card that proves they are engaged in essential services, instead of the e-pass.

This time pregnant women and patients going to hospital are also included in the exempt lists as well as the public going or coming from airports, ISBTCs, and railways. It also includes going to neighborhood shops on foot for purchasing essentials.
Auto Rickshaw and taxis have been allowed to operate during curfew hours but they can only provide services to exempt people. However, they need to follow prescribed Covid protocols.
Uttar Pradesh and Haryana have already implemented night curfews.
