Russia Ukraine Crisis: Some American’s are holding Greta Thunberg for Russia’s invasion on Ukraine

Twitter is a platform that is being widely used by people to express their views. Greta Thunberg was seen and made big after the climate summit. She is now under attack from some Americans accusing her of cancelation of the Keystone XL pipeline by current president Joe Biden. Some even went ahead to say this will increase the west’s dependency on gas on Russia.

The Keystone Pipeline System is an oil pipeline system in Canada and the United States, commissioned in 2010 and owned by TC Energy and as of 31 March 2020 the Government of Alberta.

Christian Collins who is the Founder of @texyouthsummit and Congressional Candidate for TX-08, wrote that Joe Biden cancelled the Keystone XL pipeline and made our country more reliable on Russia for oil and gas. No more taking our energy policy advice from Greta Thunberg. America needs to be energy independent and bring back manufacturing from China.

Sushe Seth who also wrote Have @Malala and @GretaThunberg  condemned Russia yet? Or empathised with the Ukrainians?

Another user Matt Walsh said I’m so glad that the west gave up on energy independence because Greta Thunberg yelled at us. That’s really looking like a smart move today.
