The Delhi government on Saturday put all locale on high caution and asked the region justices to organize with the local group of fire-fighters for showering of pesticides and bug sprays to forestall a potential locust attack in the national capital after their multitudes plummeted on neighboring Gurgaon.
A warning given by the Delhi development Commissioner said that residents can control the locust by making high-decibel sound through pounding of drums, utensils; playing high-volume music, blasting wafers, and burning neem leaves.
The warning requested that the individuals keep entryways and windows shut and spread outside plants with plastic sheets.

“Swarms of locusts usually fly in daytime and rest during night. Therefore, they should not be allowed to rest during night time,” it read.
“Night spray of malathion or chlorpyrifos is useful. PPE kits may be used while spraying for safety,” the advisory said.
