Breaking : Russia claims strike on depot stocking foreign weapons near Odessa

Russia’s defence ministry said Saturday that its troops launched a missile strike near Odessa on a store storing weapons given to Ukrainian forces by the US and European countries.

“Russian armed forces today damaged a logistical terminal at the military airfield near Odessa where a significant batch of foreign weaponry brought by the United States and European countries were stored with high-precision and long-range missiles,” it claimed in a statement.

According to the ministry, Russia targeted 22 Ukrainian military installations with missiles on Saturday, including three armaments and munitions depots near Ilichiovka and Kramatorsk.

Also on Saturday, Russian aeroplanes attacked 79 military targets, including 16 weapons and fuel depots, according to the statement.
