Tata and Mahindra cars sales on boom after Hyundai and Kia Kashmir Post controversy

Hyundai India has finally issued a response, stating, “Hyundai Motor India has been committed to the Indian market for more than 25 years and we remain steadfast in our strong culture of honouring nationalism.”
The uninvited social media post tying Hyundai Motor India to this magnificent country offends our unwavering devotion and service to this wonderful country. Hyundai’s second home is India, and we have a zero-tolerance policy for insensitive communications, which we strongly reject.
We shall continue to work for the welfare of India and its people as part of our commitment to the country.

Maruti Suzuki Leads Car Retail Sales in January 2022 Maruti Suzuki India Limited topped the retail sales rankings last month, selling 1,20,944 units compared to 1,41,182 units in January 2021. As a result, market share fell from 49.12% in January 2021 to 46.82 percent last month. In terms of retail sales, no other automaker was able to surpass 50,000 units last month. Hyundai was ranked second, with 35,140 vehicles sold in January 2021, down from 49,364 in January 2021. YoY, the market share fell from 17.17 percent to 13.60 percent.
