The smartphone brand OnePlus yesterday introduced OnePlus AI, which arrives with the tagline Intelligently Yours. The company has also shed light on the Plus Key features that will be arriving with the OnePlus 13s smartphone, replacing the Alert Slider.
Plus Key
The Plus Key is a customizable hardware button that blends shortcuts with AI-powered tools. It offers quick access to a range of actions: from switching sound profiles or launching the camera to turning on the flashlight or initiating AI-powered translations.
The company has also introduced Plus Mind, the inspiration behind the Plus Key. Plus Mind is designed to help you intelligently save and analyze content across your apps. Press the Plus Key or swipe up with three fingers to instantly save what’s on your screen to Mind Space. From flight details and recipes to WhatsApp messages, Plus Mind stores and understands it all. For example, it can pull event details from an image or message and add them directly to the user’s calendar.

- AI Call Assistant- Reach out and connect with in-call translation and notes on OnePlus Dialer.
- AI Translation- This feature combines text, live voice, camera, and screen translation into one streamlined app.
- AI Notes- One tap delivers instant summaries or flawless, filler-free voice transcriptions.
- AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser, AI Eraser, AI Detail Boost, AI Clear Face, and AI Reframe are some of the features offered to enhance photography.
OnePlus also integrates with Google’s AI tools, including Gemini and Circle, to Search. With Circle to Search, you can draw a circle around any text or image and get instant answers, translations, or actions without switching apps. Gemini brings smart suggestions, summaries, and tappable action chips right to your screen.
It is revealed that Gemini will soon integrate across OnePlus Notes, Clock, and Calendar, while Gemini Live takes this further with real-time AI-powered context via your screen or camera.
Privacy
OnePlus AI runs on a hybrid privacy architecture. Smart features like message suggestions run entirely on-device. Advanced functions like Plus Mind use the Private Computing Cloud (PCC), where your data is processed only for you, encrypted, and accessible only to your phone and you. This is enabled through a Trusted Execution Environment that spans your device, the cloud, and data transfer.
The new OnePlus AI features will be introduced on the upcoming OnePlus 13s smartphone, which is scheduled to launch on 5th June.
