Naver Maps Also Reported to Support Now Bar and Live Activities on One UI 7 in South Korea

As per a new X update, it has been reported that in South Korea, the Naver Maps that is said to be the most predominant mapping or navigation app of the country, has also started to support ‘Now Bar’ as well as ‘Live Activities’.

‘Now Bar’ is a new feature that Samsung introduced with its Android 15 based One UI 7 custom skin and very recently, we had reported that Google rolled out a new update for its Maps application, making it compatible with Now Bar. This enabled Galaxy smartphone devices running on the One UI 7 custom skin display ‘Live Activities’ with the help of Now Bar.

In the brand’s home market, South Korea, the Naver Maps application might have also received a new update as both ‘Now Bar’ and ‘Live Activities’ are currently supported by it. Additionally, the app is also revealed to show live path and traffic tracking features as well.

To speak of some related news, an Identity Check feature was also brought to Samsung’s Galaxy devices running on One UI 7, whereas the Galaxy S25 series users in the United Kingdom was reported to have got the Detailed Health Battery Information feature on the battery info page. Moreover, the Smart Switch migration app of the brand had also received a new update, bringing a refreshed user interface and updated icon. Also to add, Samsung is said to start rolling out the One UI 7 official stable version from this month (February 2025) onwards, and the Galaxy S24 series users (and maybe the Galaxy S23 series users) are likely to get it.
