Three New Intel Xeon 6 Processors Unveiled, Designed for Advanced GPU-Powered AI Systems

The leading American semi-conductor brand – Intel has now introduced three new additions to its Intel Xeon 6 series of processors, and these are specifically designed for advanced GPU-powered AI systems. Among the three, one is integrated onto the NVIDIA DGX B300 AI system as well.

New Intel Xeon 6 Processors – Officially Unveiled

The new Intel Xeon 6 processors that have now been unveiled as mentioned are designed for advanced GPU-powered AI systems, and they feature P-cores or Performance cores. Intel’s Speed Select Technology – Turbo Frequency (Intel SST-TF) and Priority Core Turbo technology (PCT) are included within them, thereby delivering customizable CPU core frequencies and boosted GPU performance. Among the three new Intel Xeon 6 processors, the Intel Xeon 6776P processor with robust memory capacity and bandwidth is integrated on NVIDIA’s DGX B300 AI system.

Speaking more, the new Intel Xeon 6 processors have high core counts with up to 128 P-cores per CPU and deliver exceptional single-threaded performance. When compared to other competitor products, 30% faster memory speeds are offered with the support for leading memory bandwidth featuring MRDIMMs and Compute Express Link. Enhanced I/O performance is also guaranteed, relying on up to 20% more PCIe lanes. FP16 precision arithmetic support is also given on the CPUs, making them capable of performing efficient data pre-processing as well as critical CPU tasks. Reliability, serviceability, and availability are also the notable key features of the new Intel Xeon 6 processors.
