Zoho Pay All Set to Launch as Zoho’s Consumer Payments App for India: Roll-Out Expected in Phases Over the Next Few Months

The India-based SaaS company – Zoho is preparing to take its first step in the consumer fintech space with the launch of Zoho Pay. This new consumer payments app is all set and is currently undergoing internal testing, and the app is believed to soon roll-out in phases.

Zoho Pay Consumer Payments App – Coming Soon in India?

The upcoming Zoho Pay app that will be introduced soon will be hitting the market both as a standalone app and integrated within the Arattai app, and it will be competing with other similar apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, and more. As per what the CEO of Zoho Payments Tech – Sivaramakrishnan Iswaran states, Zoho Pay will be allowing its users to send as well as receive money, make secure payments, and also carry forward transactions. Also, on Arattai, Zoho Pay will enable users to make transactions without having to leave the chat itself.

Speaking more, the company plans to expand its financial services ecosystem and Zoho Pay is also part of this vision. Expansions into other areas like lending, insurance, brokerage, and more are also underway, and we might soon be able to witness the company’s progress in these mentioned fields. In the case of Zoho Pay, the company believes that its existing user base of more than 100 million users in many of its software products will aid in building up traction in India’s digital payments market.

In related news, early this month in October 2025, the Ministry of Education (India) has directed all officials to make use of the Zoho Office Suite in attempts to support the Atmanirbhar Bharat and Swadeshi Movement. Here’s more about it.
