Windsurf Officially Introduces Falcon Alpha as its New Stealth Model Designed for Speed
Last month in September 2025, Windsurf brought out Code-Supernova as its versatile agentic coding model and a month later, the Falcon Alpha has now been introduced by the brand as its new stealth model. It is now accessible to users, and it is designed for speed.

Windsurf’s New Stealth Model – Falcon Alpha Officially Introduced
As mentioned, Windsurf’s Falcon Alpha is a new AI-powered coding product/IDE that the brand has introduced as a powerful agentic stealth model that has been designed for speed. This AI model is capable of performing complex and multi-step coding tasks and based on the user feedback received, it is reported to offer good performance on back-end tasks and is claimed to be very fast .
Speaking more, the performance of the Falcon Alpha model is tied to the Cascade agentic flow in Windsurf and while its performance on back-end tasks are praised, at the moment it is said to have certain limitations in fulfilling front-end tasks. As indicated by calling it a ‘stealth model’, the Falcon Alpha model is experimental in nature, and it is actively being tested as well as tuned by the Windsurf team.
