Samsung expands language support for Galaxy AI and Bixby
Galaxy AI is expanding language support across more of its features, starting with those that translate, transcribe, and summarise.
Call Assist, Note Assist, Interpreter, and Transcript Assist now include Hungarian and Malay, bringing features such as Live Translate to 24 languages (Hong Kong, Dutch, English, Filipino, French, German, Gujarati, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese).
Elsewhere in Galaxy AI, Now Nudge, which suggests a relevant next step based on what is on screen, adds 8 languages (Dutch, Filipino, Gujarati, Hungarian, Malay, Romanian, Swedish and Turkish) to reach 24 as well.
For Bixby (an agent that offers intuitive device control through natural conversation), the company has added support for Polish, Thai, and Vietnamese, bringing support to 12 languages, allowing more Galaxy users to control their devices more effortlessly.
Bixby’s new languages began rolling out yesterday, with the new Galaxy AI languages to follow in the coming weeks.
