Perplexity Windows App Introduced With Voice Dictation, Keyboard Shortcuts, and Latest AI Models

Perplexity AI has now introduced its new Windows app for users following the Mac version app that was brought out back in October 2024. The Windows version app will be offering many features, and aims to offer better accessibility when needed on Windows PCs.

Perplexity AI Introduces its New Windows App

Ever since Perplexity AI unveiled the Mac version app late last year, there has been a strong request from the side of users, wanting a Windows version of the app as well. After about five months following the launch of the Mac version app, taking the long time user requests into consideration, the company has indeed introduced a Windows version app for users.

As noted by the CEO of Perplexity AI – Aravind Srinivas, the goal of the company is to be present anywhere where the user wants it to be. Users will be able to access keyboard shortcuts, voice dictation, as well as the latest AI models with the help of the official Perplexity Windows desktop app. Additionally, it has also been said by the company CEO that with the Perplexity AI Windows app, the platform is just a command shortcut away from any new query, further trying to fight the search bar stronghold that Google Chrome has on any Windows PC. Users as suggested will also be able to dictate a query by voice too, to access Perplexity AI and receive its response.
