Sandisk has announced its new SANDISK NAS 600 SATA SSD and SANDISK NAS 800 NVMe SSD for the Indian market. Both drives are designed for NAS environments, with the former targeting prosumers, creative professionals, and small businesses, while the latter is aimed at more demanding all-flash and hybrid NAS systems.

SANDISK NAS 600 SATA SSD – Specifications and Features
Starting with the SANDISK NAS 600 SATA SSD, it comes in a 2.5″/7mm SATA form factor and has been designed for use cases such as HDD replacement, SSD caching, and storage tiering.
The drive offers sequential read speeds of up to 560MB/s and is available in capacities ranging from 500GB to 4TB.
Speaking of endurance, the top-end 4TB model is rated for up to 2,500TBW, while the series offers a claimed reliability of up to 2.25 million hours MTTF.
The SSD is designed for multi-drive and RAID configurations and can also be used with compatible 3.5″ NAS drive bays that support 2.5″ SSDs.
As there are no mechanical components involved, the drive also operates without the mechanical noise generally associated with traditional hard drives.
Pricing for the SANDISK NAS 600 SATA SSD starts at $179.99 for the 500GB variant.
SANDISK NAS 800 NVMe SSD – Specifications and Features
Moving to the SANDISK NAS 800 NVMe SSD, this one is designed for all-flash and hybrid NAS systems and comes in an M.2 2280 form factor.
It uses a PCIe 5.0 NVMe interface along with SANDISK TLC 3D NAND.
On the performance side, the 1.92TB model is claimed to offer sequential read and write speeds of up to 14,900MB/s and 13,200MB/s, respectively.
Meanwhile, the 3.84TB variant is rated for random read and write performance of up to 2.3 million and 2 million IOPS, respectively.
Speaking of endurance, the top-end 7.68TB model offers up to 14PBW, while the lineup is available in capacities ranging from 960GB to 7.68TB.
The drive can be used for caching, storage tiering, and primary storage, and is being positioned for workloads such as databases, virtualisation, content creation, and agentic AI.
Sandisk also states that the drive has been tested for compatibility with several leading NAS systems.
Pricing for the SANDISK NAS 800 NVMe SSD starts at $309.99 for the 960GB variant.
Availability
Both the SANDISK NAS 600 SATA SSD and SANDISK NAS 800 NVMe SSD have been announced in India on 9th September 2026 and will be available starting this month.
The drives will be sold via Sandisk.com, selected retailers, and online retailers worldwide.
