Insta360 Luna Pro – Launching on 20th August 2026 in China
According to the teaser poster that has been shared on the Weibo platform, the upcoming Insta360 Luna Pro will be launching on 20th August 2026 in China. Furthermore, the teaser also gives us a glimpse at the handheld gimbal-style camera, and the Leica branding can notably be spotted on its camera module.
Speaking more, a recent leaked unboxing video of the Insta360 Luna Pro had already revealed its retail box contents as well as a few of its design aspects. Inside the box, users will be getting the camera, protective case, 1/4-inch thread handle, wrist strap, USB Type-C cable, and documentation.

Coming to its design, the Insta360 Luna Pro features a single-lens camera design, which also makes its gimbal head more compact when compared to the Ultra model. The device also appears to have a solid and well-built construction, whereas the provided protective case fully covers both the gimbal head and lens, thereby offering added protection while carrying it around.
Another notable feature of the upcoming device is its detachable 2-inch OLED touchscreen remote, which can be separated from the main camera unit. The protective case design also appears to be more practical, as it fully covers the more delicate camera and gimbal section unlike what is seen on several other competing pocket gimbal cameras.
As mentioned, the launch of the Insta360 Luna Pro will be taking place on 20th August 2026 for Chinese customers, and more details regarding its specifications, pricing, and availability are expected to be revealed during the launch.
Stay tuned for more updates.
