Minecraft: Java Edition is 17 years old, and the company has been introducing new features and improvements in this game to provide an enhanced experience for gamers. But this game was based on older hardware and older graphics technology.
To provide a stable Minecraft experience and let the game run well, the company has now updated the minimum and recommended system requirements for Minecraft: Java Edition.

For minimum requirements, the new target is 1080p at 30 FPS using the Fast preset. This means a 64-bit system, 8GB of RAM with a discrete GPU or 12GB with integrated graphics, a 4-core processor, and a Vulkan 1.3-capable GPU with at least 2GB of RAM.
For recommended requirements, the new target is 1080p at 60 FPS using the Fancy Preset. This includes 16GB of RAM, a stronger modern processor, and a more capable graphics card with 6GB of VRAM.
These updated requirements are still relatively low when compared with many modern AAA games. But these provide a clear baseline for how to ensure a stable Minecraft experience in today’s times, especially at 1080p.
The recommended system requirements changed on 21st July. According to Minecraft, performance and visual quality are no longer guaranteed on hardware below the new minimum.
It is revealed that if your computer still falls below the new minimum requirements, Java Edition will still launch; performance and visual quality are no longer guaranteed, and it may struggle or fail to launch in the future. The company will keep the players informed about these changes.
